1) I miss Omar... so does the back line.

2) Can't wait for Buddle and Keane to keep being that new Cop Buddy Movie: Buddle&Keane.

3) We DOMINATED the fucking match (except for counterstrikes which is the antithesis of "dominating")

4) Streamers? Like that? In 2012?!?

5) I'll take the tie... for now. Later, we'll take their shirt.

WTF Buddle!? Thats the second time he missed a point blank shot. C'mon dude!

Hater.

I think we need to piss off Danny Koevermans and try to get him to do something dumb and get sent off. What say you?

Yup. He's the perfect candidate for harassment.

Fortunate result, but the G's backline was very shaky at the beginning of the match and it was a bit unsettling.

Toronto is horrible defensively and their goalkeeper is not very solid. Both factors allowed the G's to pull two back.

I'll take it!

I'm not sure why, but I never doubted that LA would get a comfortable result. LA were always in command of the game and even with their two goals against the run of play, Toronto were always the second best team. That second goal was always coming and I'm only surprised we didn't have more.

The pitch looked like a rock. The ball played funny. I'm sure when the meet again next week on a decent pitch (there haven't been an concerts or tractor-pulls or anything recently, right?) then it'll be an even stronger performance from LA.

Backline looked a bit dodgy at times, but I'm confident it'll get better as the season progresses.

Love the way Edson & Keane are working together. It's gonna be a lot of fun watching them up top with Landon & the English guy supporting them.

If the Orange Smurfs get their hand smacked for flairs, how can MLS not come down on the BS being thrown *at* players last night. MLS came out with some kinda guideline a couple years ago saying streamers were okay to celebrate goals, but last night was TFC fans back at being total douchbags with the paper...and beer cans.

Did you notice that it was a Beck's beer can?

I don't know if that made it better or worse. Even with our experiences, I rather like it the way Beckham engages with opposing supporters.

You notice where he ran after leveling the score? I did enjoy that. :)

Yes! The raddest part of the whole thing actually... there's a marketing opportunity there somewhere.

Yeah I'm kind of digging this grumpy old man thing he's got going on with the opposing team's supporters. I must admit, how he ran back to the corner after LD's goal and yelled at those idiots had me laughing...

Why didn't we just wear the all blue uniforms? Or the black ones for that matter?

Oh, and Yay!

RETURN LEG IDEA:

What if we went all Blazing Saddles and built exact replicas of ourselves to fill the other side of the stadium?

And that's that. Goodnight everyone. Just go home. Turn off the TV. There is no coming back from this one. If the G's go down by 3, I'll give away my tix for the return leg.

Jajajaaaaaaaaa

You're safe now!

I didn't get to watch until late last night.

Luis Silva/Suarez? Another happy graduate of Diving Cunts U.

Keane and Buddle were just a hair off at times. I think when these two get going.... look out. I hope.

And I also hope Tommy Meyer gets a shot in place of Boyens. Why not?

And and... can the league finally temper the TFC streamer thing? So annoying.

Finally, the wait is over.

Buddle and Keane almost synced up, in a scary-good type of way. Im glad Buddle's confidence is where he left off.
