Are people seriously having a conversation about benching our team MVP this weekend?

of course because this is metrofanatic and we need something to talk about

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Dont think Chris will do it. Just hope we dont get one of those lineup continuity matches and bench both Royer and Kaku.

Cbus, CHI, NE, ORL & TFC all play tomorrow.
If results go our way, we will be playing for a home seed on Sunday, not a spot in the playoffs.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Columbus doesn't matter, they can only max out at 43. If Orlando, Chicago and Montreal all lose or tie their next game they can't pass us either.

Hopefully LAFC and Dax can do us a solid vs TFC over the next week. We'll need to do our job as well, of course.

So far today, first 4 have all dropped points.

Orlando can no longer catch us.

Chicago maxes out at 44, so they can no longer catch us (we have the wins tiebreaker).

If LA beats Montreal tonight, we will clinch a spot without playing.

If there is a tie, we will need a tie.

If Montreal comes back, we need a win.

TFC up 1-0 on LAFC in the 30th

TFC concede a PK in the 93rd minute.
Vela scores in 95th, 1-1 final.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

If LA beats Montreal ... we will clinch ... without playing.

LA win 2-1. All results go our way. RB in playoffs.
Can we jump TFC & DC for 4th and a home game?

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

TFC concede a PK in the 93rd minute.
Vela scores in 95th, 1-1 final.

Which means we can guarantee a 4th place finish with 3 wins.

DC next Sunday looms even larger.
First things first, though. Need to TCB vs. PU.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

If we win out, how high can we go?  Can we get a 1st round bye?

No. NYC is on 57 and Atlanta on 54. The best RBNY can do is 53. They could take 3rd with a full on Philadelphia implosion, but Philly would either need to drop all four of their matches, or pick up a single point and get beaten badly in the other three.

I'm torn between wanting TFC to slow down and wanting LAFC to blow it and fail to get to 71 points, so happy to see the draw.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.
