Carli Lloyd out of NWSL Challenge Cup: https://www.inquirer...p-20200621.html

2 months ago, all was reportedly well:
https://www.cnn.com/...trnd/index.html

Dont think there's a general NWSL thread anywhere, so I'll put this here.

Also out of the challenge cup: the entire Orlando Pride. 6 players and 4 staffers test positive after a bunch of players visit a bar. Nice job Florida.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

I mean, I knew he sucked and was a profoundly weird dude, but that's not quite the same as being an anti-vax corona denier who gleefully exposes a few thousand people to a deadly virus.

Gotta love anti-vaxxers. Can you imagine if YouTube was around when the polio vaccine came out? Instead of celebrations in the street, people would fold their arms and tell you why they're not getting the vaccine, because of what they learned about this Dr. Salk character at YouTube University.

NY, NJ and CT to require 14-day quarantine for travelers from states with high Covid-19 rates

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said any state that has a 10 people per 100,000 testing positive for coronavirus — or a 10% infection rate — will be subject to the newly imposed quarantine. The numbers, which are on a seven-day rolling average, will be updated daily, so the states impacted could change day-to-day.

Today, there are nine states that meet the criteria for the 14-day quarantine. They are:

  • Alabama
  • Arkansas
  • Arizona
  • Florida
  • North Carolina
  • South Carolina
  • Washington
  • Utah
  • Texas

"They better keep playing that RB Arena update because that unbuilt stadium is the only positive thing about this soft-drink-selling, coached-by-a-dumbass, trading-good-players-for-shit, hopeless, retarded, club." - MetroFanatic

"It was always six weeks away. Every month, [Nick Sakiewicz] would say, we're six weeks away from the stadium. It's been the longest six weeks of my life." - Mike Petke

"I think every country can learn everything about each other. If the whole world can be together, it can be good." - Mathias Jorgensen

"I want to give you lots of titles for your happiness. Lots of hugs.” - Fabio

WWE hasn't been in a real bubble like MLS/NBA wants though. Most of the WWE people either live in the area and have been going out and about like normal or they have been still flying back and forth to Orlando. They never stopped doing shows so it's amazing it took this long for them to get some positive tests.
