No Keane and no Penedo for this one, and Donovan and Gonzalez are iffy.  Rogers is threatening to be available, and De La Garza hopes to be able to play with a brace on his elbow.

We could sure use three points out of this.

Well if Rogers is available, I'm sure he will be worthless.  Hopefully the Omar and Landon will be available and healthy enough to make a positive impact on the game.

Okay, well, for tonight's Gs it looks like we have:

Rowe; Franklin, Leonardo, Opare, Dunivant; Zardes, Sarvas, Juninho, Stephens; McBean, Villarreal

Subs:  Perk, Meyer, Mastroeni, Garcia, Jimenez, Courtois, Keane (!)

Keane must've just gotten off the plane and come straight to the stadium.  I hope Sarvas gets to be captain this evening; I understand it's his birthday.

Looks like Juninho has the armband.  It's pink; this must be October.

0-0 at halftime.  Same old same old:  Lots of possession, good opportunities, bupkus to show for it.  Plus the Imps are getting opportunities too, although I like how aggressively Rowe plays.

Damn.  Keane in for McBean at 59 minutes.  And Courtois in for Stephens.

67 minutes in, big scramble in front of the net that OPARE puts away!

Jimenez in for Villarreal at 82 minutes.

Zardes, Sarvas, and Keane have all hit the woodwork this evening.

Still, the game ends 1-0.  We really needed those three points, and this was exactly the sort of game the Gs would have found a way to lose over most of the season.  Opare, Rowe, and Keane are all studs.

Yep. I kinda have some hope to do something in the playoffs once we get the full team together.

Sarvas was great.

As Fredo and CG noted, I'm glad we're winning matches that we lost or tied earlier this year.

But man, if we'd just won one of those stupid losses - we'd be top of the table right now.
