Damn. Friedel and Guzan on the same team. Guzan won't be playing much.
i think they brought Friedel to groom Guzan's game and to get him adjusted to the Premier League. he might not play much in the beginning, but i do see Guzan becoming a starter by the end of the season or playing as a starter in Cup Games (FA, Carling).

Villa just bought Brad Friedel for about $4 mil. Dang, I liked cheering for Blackburn, but I guess it is pretty cool that he can call himself a "villain" now.
Where's your source? From what I've read they've agreed to sell him if they can find a suitable replacement for him, but the deal isnt done.

Another match, good for Joe. I posted last week on the MLS Notes' thread he played with BM. He even had a nice miss on goal.

It beats changing the air in your tires and sorting your socks.

Yeah, great stuff for Joe. Though this is a "Yank" thread, I hope, as he is now a fairly solid fixture in Zim's plans for WCQ, he can get that country back on track in the coming matches.

Joe... Replay on GolTV, right now. 7 minutes in. He always reminded me of Eddie Johnson until he went to Texas. Now, they are twins. Good Klinsie gave him a run out. Talk of putting him on Munich II.Another match, good for Joe. I posted last week on the MLS Notes' thread he played with BM. He even had a nice miss on goal.
Sorry, again, not in proper thread but better than starting a "Ex-Galaxy Abroad" thread...
