If we assume everyone's on a standard 3 year guarantee + options, that'd be whoever signed in 2018. From the transfer list that season I see Kaku and CCJ as the internationals (did CCJ ever sign a new contract?) and Mines and White as the homegrowns
It could be argued the decision was a mistake if we lose...
We could and probably should lose either way. Strubers team now.
I personally would have let Carnell finish it out, but the guy global spent 2 mill on is here now and I imagine it isnt a good look to keep him off the sideline despite all the extenuating circumstances.
I feel like I say this in the match thread every game, but "It will come" is only a valid excuse for a player who actually has a history of scoring. Someone without a history of scoring at MLS level and who keeps hitting balls directly at the GK or off target... that's just a bad striker.
I get it, you arent going to shit on your own player in the media. Still strange how much of an opportunity he is getting to start regularly.
I think he was Thelwell's 1st signing. I think he stays, but leaves next July.
I still contest that fact, because Hamlett was quoted in the press release. Thelwell, Yearwood and Tetteh. Thelwell had been here for a month when the signing was announced but I wonder if Fernie and Hamlett did the leg work on that one.
