fine with it. would be nice to have a big $$$ sponsor emblazoned on the front like "Spectrum" or "MTA"

Still wish we'd just go red home and black away.

Fuck that. Can't we keep some continuity here with the red and white colors please. There's enough teams in MLS who have black as the primary color, let them have it.

New York is..... Black?

I don't see any reason to move away from the red jerseys. Just give us a different style of red, you can incorporate more black but meh.

Also it's silly to wear all black in the sun.

I will never, ever buy a black Red Bulls jersey.

The New York Red Bulls previously kicked around Major League Soccer as the MetroStars with limited success. But after transforming under a new banner in 2005, the Red Bulls have become a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference. The club has made leaps of progress since its previous incarnation and now has its focus on bringing the league title to New York. I like the black for a change kit. But only if the home look is red or the classic white/red/white. Now, we are gonna have silver home and black away? Ehhhh

Last year's black RBNY Earth day jersey is really nice. I don't mind it as an alternate but still prefer red as main jersey

Gonna be toasty!

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

I hope this is not true. I like having red for the primary jerseys to go along with the "NY is red" campaign. I agree that consistency and a new style would be better. I don't like the current red style and was looking forward to a new one.

If these cowards had any gall, they'd release a red with black bridge stripe kit.

i wouldn't mind a red sash, similar to that of the Peru alternate jersey for Copa America. that shit looked hot.
