No past tense being used, why post about him enjoying being captain if he's leaving, especially given recent memory and backlash when the captain gets moved?

If anything I think it says the opposite.
No past tense being used, why post about him enjoying being captain if he's leaving, especially given recent memory and backlash when the captain gets moved?
did he reference Dax and Sacha in the post???
If not then no past tense would seem to be okay.
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

I saw that on Instagram earlier as well, and thought it was odd.
It sounds like he's leaving..
But maybe he's just thanking the fans and organization because he's a good guy? Who knows.

It's the same font and style and the Hamlett post promising "the process".

I will go with this.

Unfortunately I don't think this is true. He's still solid, but he's fallen off from his shot stopping peak, and his mobility isn't ideal for the modern game. I love the guy, but we need to start thinking about upgrading (and Meara is not an upgrade).

Shot stopping is still all-MLS but distribution and dealing with crosses are both mediocre. Overall still an above average keeper by MLS standards. Upgrading would be nice but I don't think it's particularly likely. We also have bigger needs in midfield and attack.Unfortunately I don't think this is true. You guys see that our midfield and forward players were trotting out front of robles and our defense are mostly USL 2 level guys right?

Wish I could find the article now but towards the end of the year someone wrote up the difference between the Red Bulls expected goals allowed and actual goals allowed. In 2018 we let in a lot fewer goals than expected, usually a sign of great individual plays especially by the keeper. In 2019 we let in way more, something to the tune of a 17 goal swing in total.
That stat isn't perfect, but I think its fair to say that Robles didn't make as many jaw-dropping saves this year as he had in the past, and even let in a few soft goals that were very out of character. I'm with jaomiq on this one, I don't think we should move on from Robles just yet but this last season was a step down individually for him.
