Since I have to pay the full amount when ordering the scarves, I'm going to start collecting money on Monday, cause its a little pricy to pay out of my own wallet.

You can send checks or cash to :

Chase Kania
1441 Fawn Ct.
Redlands, CA 92373

This company has made scarves for US supporters in the past, and they are great quality.

Are you all okay with someone that is a California native but out east repping one of these (very) proudly?

If so, I'd like to support this by contributing as well (just say how much you'd like).

I really have nothing soccer related that represent my true roots and this would be awesome to have.

Good idea and I'm thrilled so see others getting away from Sam's Army.

Pregame pints 15. Ticket to the game 60. Carlsburg, Meatpie and Crisps 16. Seeing an American score on another American at a Premier League match in England; Priceless.

The more the merrier.

Ok my paypal account is set up. My email address is Ck2kickers@aol.com .

Let me know your display name when you send money so I know who paid, and also send your shipping address so I can send it when they are completed.

The scarves are twenty a piece, so let me know how many you would like, then pay that amount, haha.

That's what confuses me, I thought was for the local brigade chapter thingy of Sam's Army. As in, brigade of the army.

We are still affiliated with SA, as in we host supporters from around the country, but this kind of separates us from the other supporters groups , and this is why I didnt put the SA logo or '' Sam's Army '' anywhere on the scarf.

Sam's Army has done amazing things for a lot of people... in other places.

But in the Republic of California, we've been on our own. We've been left to our own devices. Hence, the SOCAL BRIGADE is a bit of a rogue group. Our state was abandoned long ago and we're building something different. We welcome all of Sam's Army, but we represent the U.S. the only way that it can be represented by the true melting pot that is Southern California: we stand up and we don't care what others think.
They say, "This is MADNESS".
We say, "THIS IS CALIFORNIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

We are the SOCAL Brigade. Earn it. EARN IT!

I escaped. Period.

tm

PS: For the record, the governorship of Texas is more a symbolic position. The state is run by council and the Gov. just signs things he has no control over.

Don't. The last person that I heard that did that, showed up at a Nats game and heard some stupidity about copyright infringement.

Don't get me wrong, I think that there absolutely should be some sort of national supporter's scheme but it needs to be better run and much more tolerant of the diversity that is soccer supporters groups.
