this is also clearly a plan C or D move.

Having a plan C or D is a nice alternative. Kahl and Gloster (maybe) plan A and B

Try before you buy

Well maybe not. Theres no trade condition like the one that was in the Berhalter to Austin loan.

Im sure if he plays well enough RBNY could acquire him from Atlanta, depending on the price

I'll give them credit on this one.   Obviously plan C, but they had a Plan C and a pretty solid Plan C at that.   Addition to our Hermann Trophy awardee collection?

That's a slight improvement from Looking for the Right Fit.

The banner is more like "Everyone is awful".  I dont remember a window where we signed a new player competing to start at basically every position group.

Try before you buy

Seems like we're trying out our entire roster before we buy.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

I am 100% on board with this, especially after the Jorgy debacle. Bring new loanees on for 6-12 months, and if they're good then splash out the cash to buy them. Otherwise just cut them loose and repeat next offseason.

Now assuming Struber is still here next year, I doubt we'll see a ton of player turnover again.  But maybe another 2-3 new inbound loans next year wouldn't be such a bad thing, assuming 1-2 of them "stick" as permanent inbound transfers.

Coach is new to the league, most of the players they are bringing are new... I have no problem with this approach.

Issue with loans is if these guys come here and kill it then the price will go up a lot.

Atl paid 75k to move up and take him and we just paid 50k to get him on loan.

If he comes and becomes an MLS starter we're going to have to pay.

If only Hamlett had half a brain, he'd pay 75K to move up himself.

If he is an upgrade from Pendant, fine with it. Bonus is that he is a domestic player.

Is there a buy option?  I haven't seen that anywhere.
