Well, that settles it. Atlanta has never beaten us with Kemar in the lineup.

Until Long is sold and Tarek is needed centrally

We currently have the worst full-backs in MLS.
This is depressing.
The New York Red Bulls previously kicked around Major League Soccer as the MetroStars with limited success. But after transforming under a new banner in 2005, the Red Bulls have become a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference. The club has made leaps of progress since its previous incarnation and now has its focus on bringing the league title to New York. If the squad hadnt been fucked over by management so much he probably stays.
As is we get peanuts and a huge hole to fill...for the best LB in concacaf.
Fuck this team.

Technically we got the max, which is full allocation money. Whether thats utilized or not is another question.

Taxi was talking about a transfer when Marsch was here. The state of team couldnt have helped, but Im guessing his age played a large in him needing to move on now.Thatll teach you guys to be optimistic.

That said, this hurts because our offseason has been garbage. Hard to watch all the signings around the league and we see mostly squat.

The issue for me is I have no faith in Armas finding the next time Taxi in a trial like Marsch did. Which wouldnt be an issue if we spent...
This isn't an Armas or Marsch thing. It's a TaxI thing. Good on the organization for recognizing the talent but finding the league's best player at a given position from trial invites is not a sustainable plan no matter who is in charge.

Super sad to see him go but I hope he excels in Belgium.

So much for "Keeping Taxi is like signing a new player."
Seriously...if Armlett think we have anything resembling a respectable LB on the roster right now, I don't know how they have their jobs.
From a net spend standpoint, Murillo + Taxi = Matty Ice. That's where we're at.

Happy for Lawrence to finally get his shot in Europe. However, I think he could do better than Anderlecht, who are mid table and not likely to be in champions league or even Europa league next year. Would have been cool to see the guy in the Premier League.

Maybe he hopes to play just a season or two there before going somewhere else?

No. Probably Tarek.
We just drafted a left back in Seagrist and we have Tolkin, that's probably what we will roll with at LB.
