Per source, hearing that #RBNY has finalized a deal for Curtis Ofori, who came up through the (vaunted) and played for . Member of the #USMNT2022_FIFA_WorldCup_USA.png youth national teams. Big-time talent. Played his youth soccer in Wappinger Falls...home of one .

Is he a LB?  Tolkin's backup for '23, or will he play with the Next Pro team?

Cool
we have our LB succession plan. Probably split time between teams but thats just my guess

Good for the kid. He will mostly be on the mls next team to get Gametime but you never know. Might come out of no where like tolkin. Tolkin started 2021 season on bench until gutman injured and rest is history.

Ofori just turned 17 in November. Already has 41 appearances in the USL Championship, highly-rated.

If he could find a way to play RB, he could have a path to the starting lineup.

Sure was!

Very happy with this addition for multiple reasons.

Solid left back addition and nice to have someone that can give Tolkin a break. Ofori has looked better at left back with the USL this past season as he has grown in size and positioning throughout the year. Towards the end of the year, did really good getting up into the attack. Very fast.

I sat with his dad (and Ngoma's) at many of the NYRBII matches and heard this was potentially on the table. Nicest of guys.
