This has stuck out like a sore thumb since Kaku left. Our midfielders miss so many through balls that any decent central midfielder should hit. I'm not talking about pin perfect 50 yard lasers between two defenders. I mean just hitting wide open strikers who are making free runs behind the defense. This play last week by Omir is a perfect example. I hate to say it but Luqui has many similar plays this season.

this is why i feel yearwood needs to start, hes our most progressive passer that tries to hit those balls.  but a big problem is in the past we've seen Amaya and Edelman hit progressive balls and that part of their game disappeared now.  almost like it was coached out of them.  from a prototype we've focused on signing attacking midfielders who can dribble to break lines running with the ball and that has been a mistake.  You need some players like that but we dont have balance.

Harper looked really good and can legit play 4 positions RW RB RWB and now LB
and to think we were ready to jetson him after first season

Also big up to Dylan Nealis who has been good this year when called on

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

that's painful to watch... much like this entire season so far.

It seems Philly fans have signed up on metrofanatic to vote for themselves (in 'What team do you hate more?') . No real fan of this team would vote anything other than DC.
