I was also so happy for him like the rest of you I have gave him a lot of stick on hear. But you could tell that the goal meant so much to him. Seeing that I remembered why I love this sport so much it’s the methanol stuff like that. Seeing a player that had been doing badly for so long just score. If he does read this brood and who no’s if he does we no the Fo does think how nice it must be for him to go on and instead of reading how he sucks he is reading fans talking good things about him. Let’s hope he keeps it up. It could be Dane part 2 I remember not to long ago we ware all sitting on hear saying god can we dump Dane he sucks so on so on well look at him now. Is this the same thing if so I want to no who is working with him if it is lets say a player then omg that player needs to be part of the coaching setup if it is may I say it Hans then clap clap for him.

I was looking for a damned bird named Frankie to swoop onto his shoulder during that celebration.

1. Medhi made a decent/smart run on that play, and was well positioned to take the strike had Henry dummied the ball to him. Shows good instinct on his part. Didn't help that Montreal's defense did nothing to defend him.

2. I've watch the reply 3,254 times, and I am still mystified how Titi knew knew Medhi would be running behind him.

Ballouchy has always been a good option off the bench. It was only Backe's insistence on starting him even when it wasn't working that caused him to get so much shit from the fans.

Are we entirely sure Henry wasn't looking for the back corner himself?

In response to the last two questions...
1) He didn't.
2) He wasn't.

Henry knew Ballouchy was behind him, and knew he only really had one play on the ball, which is the backheel he made. He HOPED and ASSUMED Mehdi would make the following run, and that he would get there to finish it. Which gives you a little insight as to Henry, and why he sometimes (often?) throws his hands up in disgust at this moment or that. When he was asked about whether he knew Ballouchy was making that run, or how did he see him or somesuch, to paraphrase his response he shrugged and answered "Well, that's the run you're SUPPOSED to make." He knew Ballouchy was back there SOMEWHERE, and assumes everybody is thinking at his level, and is at times surprised/vexed when they're not.

Presumably, Titi provided a similar explanation, for his third goal.

This is definitely a feel good kind of story. I feel proud that he did Wipeout for obvious reasons, especially with him scoring in front of all of us.

One of the most organic moments in a long while. Just like when the Tequila song started last yr when we were there up in NE.

I must say Ballouchy has more class and character then I, because if i would have read the shit some of you had wrote here about Ballouchy (me) I probably wouldn't even bother trying to endear myself to you. The guy was in poor form last year and instead of just leaving it that and questioning Backe for continuing to play him in starting role some of you decided to get brutally personal about the player. It was embarrassing.

Its not like the player made a conscious decision to under perform or cause harm to the team. Its not a Heck situation, or a Backe/Soler situation. Those guys are in charge of making administrative and personnel decision and are rightly criticized for poor ones and harms they cause, through ignorance or intent . Unless Ballocuhy was not trying or giving up on his team he doesn't deserve the kind of vitrol reserved for the aforementioned people.

Anyway, good for him. Like Henry last year its always fun to see players make the boo boys (towards the player) shut the fuck up and backtrack in public.
