This was really nice to see. I had a bad feeling the stars were aligning for them to host and win MLS Cup this year. Instead they crash out immediately at Citi Field. Brings a smile to my face.

Thank god they lost. I honestly thought they were going to win it this year.  What a shit result for them. Play the whole year to get home field advantage, and get to the playoffs and lose on their backup baseball field. Hahaha Good. Fuck em. This is what they signed up for. Game looked horrible on TV too with the weird angle and netting. What a joke.

That was a Ronald Zubar level PK to give up.  Literally no reason to dive in and he did it anyway.  Nowhere close to the ball.  And then the peneka down the middle.

Lol, see you later losers.

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

The first goal they conceded was a knee slapper too. Just an all around great feel good experience watching that shit show.

That pk foul - now we see that Murillo was spending the past few days giving defensive tips to Mattarita.

I dont know Spanish but I could read Maxi Morales lips clear as day !!!!!!

Morales was also giving Mattarita a death stare ( worse then Henry

Have to admit I enjoyed it 😀

I dont like panekas at all but do appreciate the guts to choose that style at that point and the quality he executed it with.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Wait... I haven't been tracking this ManCity Z team, so they had to play their only playoff game at Citifield?  Jeez how embarrassing.  You can't make this sh*t up.

If I didn't know better, I might have thought that was a NYRB team playing a playoff game wearing light blue jerseys.

i liked how those who left our fanbase brought the playoff losing vibe to that team.

lol - loved that Paneka last night!

Maxi - seemed to say I am going to kill you because that might the stupidest foul I've ever seen in a professional game.
