White needs service. He is like bwp. Good poacher but that is it.
BWP is "a good poacher but that is it"? One of the best scorers in MLS history?
Quite possibly the stupidest thing ever posted on this board, and that's saying something.

Umm good poacher means your a good goal scorer.

Bwp's game relies on service. You never see bwp take on guys in the dribble, create his own shot and rarely created opportunities for teammates. He needs guys to send the ball into the box and he finds a way to get it into the net. White has the same issues.

Unnecessary comment. Be kinder.
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

I can go through all of these, but how about this one: "rarely created opportunities for teammates".
7 assists in 2015 regular season, 8 in 2018.
Ok, one more: "never [...] create his own shot".
Goal #100:
Fine, one more, goal #27 in 2014:

I rest my case.

Still a poacherHe worked tirelessly off the ball for 90 minutes every game and set up his own teammates in addition to bagging a ridiculous amount of goals some of which were exceptionally well taken.

Thank you for showing clips of bwp getting fed the ball. Aka - poacher.
I can go through all of these, but how about this one: "rarely created opportunities for teammates".

He only had 6 or more assists in 3 of his 8 seasons. Thats not a good ratio

This. Not to mention he bagged all of those goals without penalties to pad his totals.

BWP had some pretty ones in his day.

I guess it depends on your definition of a poacher. BWP didn't beat defenders 1v1 very often, but he still did enough to create his own shot, and it's not like all his goals were tap-ins.
If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

I guess it depends on your definition of a poacher.
A poacher is often referred to as a fox in the box or a tap in merchant. Someone who, when his team is in possession spends most of their time inside the 18 and between the goal posts and doesnt touch the ball much over 90 minutes.
BWP was not a tap in merchant. He constantly dropped back into midfield, ran the ball down as the first line of defense and was involved in build up play.
