I can understand resting Adams, solely because he's played a full 90 in all 4 of these games in this 12 day stretch. If Long was going to sit prior to national team duty, he would have started last night, then sit on Saturday. No reason for him to not be in the XI Saturday night.

Agreed...I think Adams could probably play 3x a week for an entire season, but why risk wearing him down, especially when our CM options are so good...makes me a little nervous to go without our first choice CB pairing again, but I also think it is worth getting Parker a rest

Game time 7:30 PM. MSG network.
Hope the travelling fans are having fun!

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

If RBNY win tonight they

1) Tie all time most wins in a season at 18

2) Come within 2 points of most points in a season

With 6 games to play. Also on pace to be one of only a handful of teams (Only one I can remember) averaging less than a goal against per game.

According to MLS, we clinch with win or tie OR a DC loss or tie OR a Revs loss or tie...

We probably don't want DC to lose, since they play Atlanta.

A scoreless draw, then.

That would be lovely!!! Something about Montreal always scares me. Maybe it was when Piatti called us soft in then playoffs. I hate them for that.
This post is dedicated to all the slow defenders of the world. Godspeed! my brothers

More rotation- some starter guys guys that played mid week get the night off. Escobar now with Long.

Seems the only guy who has to play every gave is Davis, and he's been getting a lot of 60-70 minute shifts.

Adams not in the 18, full game off.
