Jensen would have to be out. Are they not aware they only have 10 international spots?

Using 2 on a 3rd string RB and a backup GK makes no sense

Coronel was loaned to Philly in 2019 to back up Blake, but yeah, this doesn't make sense unless they are moving Jensen and think that Coronel can start.

He was 3-0 for the Worms in 2019 with GAA under 1. But seriously, how many inter slots will be wasted on goalkeepers?

Maybe Jensen is staying home in Denmark. Can send him to Jorgys team

Philly fans seemed to like him in his appearances. It sounds like he was brought in as the backup, but didn't serve as the gameday backup because of the intl slot, instead getting loaned down to USL. Blake got hurt and their homegrown GK, who served as the gameday backup played really well. Curtin rode the hot hand and Coronel didn't get much of a chance after that, except when the other backup got hurt.

coronel would be a solid pickup. International slots can be managed pretty easily and perhaps they have some green cards in the works

carrying 3 RBs make sense in some way if Duncan is going to be away with the Olympic team, assuming that happens, and Egbo is going to be used as emergency cover for CB.

I dont think carrying 3 senior GK plus Luca Lewis can be rationalized

If Football Manager is to be believed, he'd be a significant upgrade over Meara and Jensen.

Goalkeeping was the least of our problems last season, though.

Again... every position can be upgraded. Fine. This is a low priority.

Though Ive watched MLS for a long time, my knowledge of contracts in next to none. If RB brings this guy in as a loan, does that count as an international spot of DP or anything like that?

Yes, an international slot.  Salary and xfer fee (if any) would determine the DP thing, but I sincerely doubt he'd get there.

Offense was much more the problem last season than the defense, yet the defense seems to be on its way to being blown up and all new acquisitions have been in defense.  Offense seemingly ignored.  All very strange.
