Needs more Ben Mines.

Good to see Bezecourt score again though, but blowing another late lead is not good.

Is Ndam improving? Gonna need him in the first teams CB rotation if injuries hit.

Chris Gloster, 16 year old academy player is starting for the US U-17s in the CONCACAF Championship against Jamaica at 1:30.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Exactly.. This is good news, looking forward to it.

Something interesting to watch is if RB2 decides to switch formations.  At least early on, they were sticking to the 4-2-2-2 but now with the big team playing the 4-2-3-1, have to wonder if they switch up to match it.

I'd like to see them play both so that players coming into the bog squad are able to play either.  Our two best varsity players seem to only be able to play the 4-2-3-1/4-3-3.  And they seem to play it effectively in the regular season...

A loan to the USL is strange. I guess it's a season-long trial for the first team.

Maybe it's what we should have done with Murillo.

Agree keep trying 4222 . Play both

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

I don't even think it's just Sacha and BWP at this point. I just think the 4-2-2-2 cant' work unless you have highly athletic and mobile players who can pass extremely well. Something MLS is not gonna have for another 10 years.

4-2-2-2 is a good defensive shape for pressing. When they generate turnovers off it they can have a first attacking push in that shape before shifting to 4-5-1.

From there, there oughta be enough freedom & awareness among the 3 attacking mids that when one moves up to the forward line the other two shift to balance.

Re: Murillo. I think the FO has figured out that the first half of MLS season - as long as you dont completely stink it up - is best used to develop players for a second half push towards the playoffs. Suspect we'll see Murillo later on.
