(Not) filling the DP slots

18 February 2022 - 11:01 PM

thank you. so we're at 15/11. maybe they promote Omir to the senior team also.
So in terms of DP slots, what kind of slot do we have left, a Young DP slot? Our U22 slots are filled Monzon Reyes, who's the third? Carmona?

we have one dp spot open. We can open a u-22 spot if we promote yearwood back to being a dp.

Some people discuss a completely aribtuary situation

If RBNY spent like Salzburg, I do not think anyone would be complaining.  Salzburg has spent between $15-30 million on transfers every year since 2018.  They have spent more on transfer fees in one season than RBNY has ever paid in since 1996.
We both are signing young players, but while RBNY's young players are mostly free, Salzburg's young players routinely cost $5 million each.
I wonder if the Salzburg fans fear that Red Bull might overspend on those players?  I doubt it.

people would be upset when we spend 10 mil on guys for rb2 like Salzburg spent 5 mil on adyemi then stashed him in leifering and academy for 2 years.  Now they are going sell him fir 35 mil

And WHO exactly decided that we play this insane system?

A system that does not allow for veterans to be on the team?

A system that doesnt allow a LOT of good players to be on the team because they arent the RIGHT FIT?

Pro players want to fight. They want to win. They want to run through walls. Some more than others and Davis was definitely in the some category and not the others category.

If he fucking left because one of the factors is that the system doesnt work for a guy who will RUN THROUGH WALLS then its pretty clear the system is a load of fucking garbage which is something Ive been saying for years.

Players win championships. Not systems. Where the fuck are all the players that are going to win us a cup? Oh yeah. We dont sign them. Or they dont want to come here. Or they want to leave here.

their is a difference between it working for him and being viable 3 years down the line and where his body will be after 3 years
