Let's just say so far Long Beach State looks much better than say...
...the bruins...
Fuckin' A! We also have trips to Louisville, North Carolina and Kansas this year, so our SOS should be quite decent. Take a scalp in one of those games, win the BW regular season title and we SHOULD be looking at an At Large berth. Doesn't mean the 49ers won't fuck it up, of course, this is Long Beach we're takling about...

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which "unskilled people reach erroneous conclusions and make unfortunate choices but their incompetence robs them of the metacognitive ability to realize it." The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their own ability as above average.

Wow. Clearly players haven't been wanting to play for Howland and something is wrong.SI is doing a UCLA piece called "Not The UCLA Way" & is an exhaustive series of anecdotes illustrating how Howland is petty, absentee & a diva coach. I still wonder how & why Dan Guerrero is still the AD?
Story coming out tomorrow.

To sum it up, nothing damaging and the reports of the story coming out last night over-hyped the piece.

I was at the ucla game. there couldn't have been more than 3,000 there.Announced attendance at USC and UCLA tonight was 7,862 COMBINED. Sad.
The sports arena is as crappy as I remember it from clipper games years ago.
