i think he deserves it. he seems to be the "glue" that keeps the team animated and together.  plus he's been around the league and the team for awhile and generally seems well-liked by the other players.

did anyone see the video that RBNY posted online from their preseason training in Florida? The team organized a lighthearted Olympic style competition, with events such as golf, free throw shooting, trivia, etc.  Dax was rocking the shortest shorts i've ever seen on a grown man.  Dude is a clown but in a good way.

Sacha seems like a good captain too. Not nominating him or anything.

Remember how angry we all got when we traded DeRo for Dax? Now Dax is team captain. Best trade ever.

we felt that way because it was widely reported around the league that dax was a locker room cancer, when it was that Dax didn't get along with Schellas Hyndman and got sorta black-listed/sent away as a result cuz of Hyndman's coaching "rep" in college and in MLS trumping Dax's "side of the story".  a different ex-FCD player confirmed such.

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.

RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee
