Interesting to see that this topic is now DH.

If you can start getting Johnson & Johnsons vaccine into arms in a month or so, this vaccination situation can turn around really quickly. One shot, refrigeration vs. freezing. Game changer. Can really mass vaccinate, get it to doctors offices, drugstore chains, etc.

Again, saying he only has had ten days is inaccurate and misleading.

Biden had his vision for a coronavirus recovery plan in place about a year ago.

Then he found out he would be president three months ago. He likely was already in the process of getting his administration together and now could act further on that, since his win was official.

By the holidays, it became very apparent that the rollout was hitting obstacles because of states only allowing certain people to get the vaccine and appointments being empty.

This continued for weeks before Biden took office and as of today, it continues to be an issue.

You're acting like Biden had no idea of the situation until ten days ago and is being unfairly criticized because he just took office. Gimme a break. Unless you think the guy is a total idiot, he knew what the situation was a long time back and is still struggling to correct it. He complained for months about Trump not acting (which he wasn't) but now that Biden is in office, he's failing to get much done either.

Again, it doesnt matter what he knew before Jan 20. He couldnt do anything before he was sworn in. And 10 days is not enough to overcome months of planning of the rollout done by Trumps administration.

Again, saying he only has had ten days is inaccurate and misleading.

The Senate has not even confirmed his HHS Secretary.  He literally does not have his guys in yet, due entirely to decisions made by Senate Republicans.

By the holidays, it became very apparent that the rollout was hitting obstacles because of states only allowing certain people to get the vaccine and appointments being empty.

This is a direct result of Trump's decision to basically leave everything up to the states with little or no Federal guidance.  This is a process that required months of planning, thousands and thousands of people, billionaires of dollars and incredibly complex contractual relationships.  Such a think cannot be turned around in a matter of weeks.  The particulars of all this were not known to Biden and his team until literally days ago due to Trump obstructionism.

This continued for weeks before Biden took office and as of today, it continues to be an issue.

You are acting like Biden is God-Emperor and can undo a years worth of mismanagement and confusion with the snap of his fingers, even before the Senate has allowed him to install the keep Cabinet officials charged with fixing such mismanagement and confusion.

Anyway, I thought COViD-19 was no big deal and everyone was overreacting.  Biden should just run some TV commercials telling everyone COVID-19 is no big deal and they should all chill out.  That would probably fix everything.  No need to get hysterical.

Hard pass from me, would rather watch on tv than have to go get a test every time.

Yeah, I have a hard time believing that I'd feel comfortable going to a game this season...most projections I remember seeing for "herd immunity" were Fall at best.

RBA concourses are too small as it is, they certainly aren't made for situations like this.

The hassle of getting 1 or 2 tests a week just to go watch this dog shit team maybe compete for a playoff spot? Absolutely not worth the hassle for me this year.

The Devils rolled my money over to the 21-22 season but I'm planning on getting them to roll that money over to the 22-23 season at this rate and I expect the Red Bulls will offer a rollover option from 21 to 22 as well.

Just personally have no interest in attending until we get back to actual normal.
