Why do MLS teams loan players to NASL teams in the first place? Don't they want to win the USOC matches against them? Usually that player would not play against his "owner" in a match. Lahoud would not play against Philly, but he would play to (perhaps) defeat NYCFC and NYRB prior to meeting Philly. The Lahoud situation sounds like MLS intervention.
Its just poor business really. The Cosmos made a mistake (again) on accepting a loan deal that had an unrestricted recall clause. Apparently MLS will not allow a loan without it. But essentially unlike most loan arrangements where a recall is only possible upon certain strict conditions subject to compensation to the loanee club (return of wages contributed, or a flat penalty), if at all, MLS can recall for any reason of their choosing and at no cost/penalty to them.
All this does is make teams like the Cosmos less likely to take on loan deals from MLS because there are no assurances they can count on the loaned player for the term of the loan.
If Philly/MLS wanted to sell Lahoud that is their right, but they shouldn't have been able to do so in the middle of the loan period (is it even in the US transfer window?) with 2 games left in the spring race to sell to a competitor in that league.

I was in Miami when a screen shot for the score/recap was posted and I truly thought for a good bit that someone just posted their own FIFA game score up as a joke.

They didn't win the FA Cup. Just wanted to show how dumb MLS fans seem to other soccer fans.
What the fuck are you on about?
