New opponent. Done well against them recently (Orlando, NYCFC, Atlanta). Let's keep this nice streak going, especially on the road.
Maybe give Veron a start for once? BWP will be good to go since he got subbed out early. Maybe Collin will be ready to start. Don't know if Lade will be good to go and doubt we'll throw Murillo in from the start. So we have some shuffling to do with our fullbacks.
We'll have the turf to deal with as well. Would be damn nice to have good road performances consecutively.
Go with best available XI, 5 in the back with any of the better wingbacks starting, should they return in time, and go with the 4 man midfield, maybe with Royer 1st off the bench.
RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.
RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee
Just get this win, and get into a nice run of form going into August. There's a good chance to make some hay if they can get on a good foot, especially if they can knock off boy city in August.
And really, they should be on their way to a Cup final by then too...
Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.
Can't wait for football lines and faded Golden Gopher logos.
As bad as Minny has been this year, they haven't been bad at home for the last while.
Game is on turf so probably not the best game to bring Collin back.
Lade looked like he might miss a short period of time.
Murillo is back, but also has been playing a lot. An option with Murillo this game could be to play him at one of those 3 CB positions to avoid having Zizzo on the field. Not much running at those spots compared to the wing back spot. Plus Adams is fine out there.
---------------Veron---------
----Royer---Sacha--Davis
Muyl---------Felipe---------Adams
-----Long-----DP---Murillo
If Lade is healthy then him over Muyl

BWP is rested and ready to go, but I wonder if Marsch, given the game will be payed on concrete, will gamble and start Veron because of his pace. Unlikely, but I bet he gets himself another 25-30 minute sub appearance.

I just rewatched the press conference and Marsch did say that Veron is an option to start this game. I think this is the game that he gets to start. Will be good for BWP not having to start every single game everywhere as well.
Only thing that scares me is that when it's completely clear Veron is going to be given a serious, serious chance, he tends to get hurt. Hopefully that doesn't happen.
short rest, travel after a very hot game - rotate
start Veron rest BWP
start Ettienne- rest Royer.
start Myul rest Lade.
start Metzger - rest Felipe then sub Felipe for Sacha @ min 50.
play it safe with Collin. Play Zizzo over Collin & Murillo to give them time to fully recover/rest.
Sal has been fine the last 2 games although that may mean he is due for a clunker.
Yes it would be nice to win but tougher to win away from home so just be smart and keep guys healthy.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.
