Goes without saying but GOTTA get the media to pick this up. I reached out to ESPN, if others have time they should do the same and contact local outlets as well.

I'm blown away by how the organizers have taken initiative on this. Just an amazing job. I'll be promoting it as much as possible. It'd be nice to get the Men in Blazers to cover it on their next podcast. I'll pester them about it today.

Red Bull Out told the News in a statement: “The MLS SuperDraft took place yesterday. What did you hear from the ‘Red Bull’ supporters who took the trip down? It wasn't cheers supporting the management or the team. It was ‘Michael Petke,’ "Red Bull Out,’ and ‘Fire Ali Curtis.’ The franchise that once promised to become MLS's first ‘Super Club’ has been turned by Red Bull into a colossal joke.”

I just wish we could reinforce the point that it is not all about Mike Petke being a fan favorite and the best coach ever. It is, for me, more about the continuous repetition of past mistakes by this ownership, as illustrated by firing Mike. There is the disrespect for the history, and - most importantly, for me at least - the incessant lack of continuity. This constant blowing up of the team and the FO does not work.

There are a lot of people who talk shit and very few who get things done.

The man is a legend. Everyone should buy him a beer for putting this together so quickly.
The New York Red Bulls previously kicked around Major League Soccer as the MetroStars with limited success. But after transforming under a new banner in 2005, the Red Bulls have become a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference. The club has made leaps of progress since its previous incarnation and now has its focus on bringing the league title to New York. Agreed 100%. This isn't about Petke, this is about a series of dumbfounded moves throughout the length of Red Bull ownership, Petke's firing is just the last of those moves. Like another poster said in a different thread, make it about Petke and the media will go to him. Make is about Red Bull and the focus turns where it belongs.

Should be noted that this is only the first in a series of anti-Red Bull actions. So this billboard has a pro-Petke message (which is well deserved), but others might be much more anti-Red Bull. Looking forward to everything else that they have planned.

I like that a story about the MLS Draft is centered on the fans' distaste of ownership.

One thing I know about digital boards, is that "copy / creative" can be changed regularly. Are there are any plans to change the copy from time to time?
Can do things like half the day one copy / half the day copy 2.
Monday (Copy 1) / Tuesday (Copy 2)
Week of Jan 12 (Copy 1) / Week of Jan 19 (Copy 2)
This would be a great way to keep the message strong and keep people passing by interested.
"Obviously, I want to make a living (in soccer), to say the least," he said. "There's so much you can accomplish in the soccer world, and right now I'm focused on having a good season with the Red Bulls. Ultimately, our goal is to win the MLS Cup, and I see no reason why we can't." - #4 Tyler Adams
