Could've used him considering BWP is really the only forward on the team with no backup. This is doubly bad in the sense that I am betting Allen will not see a single league minute with Minnesota this season.

Minnesota was down 4-0 and Allen was the only forward on the bench. He used two deep midfielders instead...

Heath just isn't a coach at this level.

Remember that one time Marsch said we'd bring in someone who could make an immediate impact?

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

Marsch: "There's still a window open for free agents. There will be a couple more additions to announce.. in the next couple of days." #RBNY

Not expecting any significant addition but hopefully whoever we get turns out good.  Will be surprised if one of them isn't Duka.

Seemed likely, but good call.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Austin berry looked good against red bull. I would like to see him on a trial.

He didn't look *that* good. He was at fault for the Veron goal and one of BWP's headers.

The Veron goal hit him in the head from a deflection and took a fortunate bounce.  There's no way to blame him for that.  A blonde defender was totally at fault for BWP's first, and Berry was marking Muyl on BWP's second.

le Toux is available.  I know how everyone here misses him. ;-)

But he always loved Philly.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

I wish they would let Sam out of that shithole.

LeToux probably asked to be released. I suppose Lloyd could as well.
Does LeToux get paid the balance of his salary.? Would Sam?

He was probably my worst ever appraisal of talent.  I really rated him before he came over to us, and am baffled at how bad and unhappy he was for us.

You weren't the only one... I get to watch Philly a lot and expected him to be a good player at the very least.

I guess looking back it was a combination of MLS passing him by and him getting older.  Was never a fast guy to begin with but it was more glaring seeing him in every single game.

The biggest piece of bullshit about that whole situation was apparently he was unhappy that he was being played on the wing instead of as a striker. Then the second he lands back in Philly he plays winger and almost leads the league in assists.

Remember when Le Toux was like "I'm available for the US!"

Yeah, buddy, so am I, but I don't think Bruce is knocking down either of our doors.
