Holgerrson was good when he wasn't relied upon to be the anchor of the backline. His best season was when he was alongside the beastly Olave.

played in Hex games already, and just played in Gold Cup. he's proven enough. played quite a bit for 22 yr old. may not start right away, but at least we got a guy who knows the job and we prob won't have to rely on Zizzo too much anymore.

Felipe Escobar!

"Felipe"?

worried about his height? Were you not watching Connor Lade last week?

i still shudder at the Portland game where Holgersson and Keel were on the backline and let in 2 extremely soft set piece goals.

to me, Holgersson will always remind me of this soft-ish tall guy who should've produced more:

Fucking waste of height.

Knicks brass after a weak-ass Charles Smith game: "In college one year, he led the country in scoring."

NY sports writer replied "Which country?"

Felipe, Fidel...we need a Filimeno, Fulgencio or a Fausto.

No Fredos though, we already have one of those. #Zizzo

Holy shit. Who is this guy? 2 goals I saw him score in highlights were straight BOOYAKKA SHOT rockets through the goal netting. This kid looks good and he's a bonafide starter for Panama? Wow. Big get, imo. Hope it's a straight up purchase, not a loan. Also alleged transfer value ain't all that high.

Little worried about his discipline issues. Not sure how well Jesse would take him ordering some hookers the night before a game or something lol. Looks like a very promising player for sure though. Hopefully Murillo and the rest of the guys can keep him grounded.

His name is Fidel Escobar.  Destined to have discipline issues.

This is true though... Some concerns.  Team has good leadership and he was young so hopefully grows out of it.  Murillo should help as well.  And Marsch in general.  Coaches usually have a big impact on kids like this.

Rule of thumb: If ordering hookers the night before a match, make sure one is for the coach!
If he turns into a stud on the fidel, fans won't complain about him being one off the fidel!
