Not even mad tonight. I was more angry when we played horrible in Atlanta and blew our cup chances. Never doubted for a second that Atlanta wouldn't beat a mediocre Portland team at home.

Sal Zizzo won MLS Cup before we did.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Pretty sure he was wearing a suit. I could have done that.

Its gonna be pretty impossible to watch any MLS broadcast on national TV now.

Miles Joseph is an assistant to Gio (the Ref screwed us) Savarese.

Frankly, I don't have much against Atlanta.  I can do without some of the gushing from the media, but I'm not going to pretend like they aren't good for the league with their willingness to spend money and ability to pack a stadium.  It sucks that it was them and not us because we were every bit as good a team and once again picked the worst possible time to lay an egg, but congrats to them.

The always reliable piece of sht @MLSTransfers posted "Also, I find no coincidence that Saverese and Joseph Miles are both former Metro".

POS can't even get the name right of a guy who played over 120 MLS games, had a couple of USMNT caps and has served as the primary assistant for Orlando, NYCFC, RSL and Portland in a lame jab at us.

This. Everything they've done has been first class and has shown the way for future MLS franchises (and current ones too).

It's certainly not bad for the league that they won.

Unrelated to the above post, while I get that Gio is a former Metro - he's one some of us grew up idolizing. Those things don't go away. I still have soft spots for many former Metros and want to see them succeed whatever they are doing.
