And they lost Zelarayan over the summer - he had 10 goals in 20 matches before he left. Shows you can be sell quite olayers as long as you replace them them with players of equal/better quality.

That was a ballsy move -- as good as Zelarayan was, they thought Rossi will take them to the next level. It worked. Of course, it helps when you add a proven performer and not just some rando.

They're all deeply unserious teams, particularly Chicago and Minnesota.

 

After this season, there will be 4 MLS teams that haven't qualified for the new (since 2008) CCL.

 

St. Louis is one, they're in their inaugural season.  Charlotte is another, they've played 2 seasons.

 

Minnesota is finishing season #7 and the Fire have failed to qualify in all 16 attempts.
