Draft day was yesterday, hence new thread...

broncos should've taken mccoy or clausen. i want the broncos to built around quinn but drafting a qb in the first round just mean that they will have to play tebow soon. drafting tebow is just as bad when they drafted clarrett. i just hope cleveland didn't completely break quinn's confidence.

Awdunno, Clausen has this odd cockiness about him... Might have an attitude problem...

could not disagree more about your assessment of the broncos acquisition of tebow (for the following reason/s):Draft day was yesterday, hence new thread...

reason being, he will be a NFL player for years to come . . . but because they signed him in the first round his contract value will exceed his value as a player (until this contract expires). for that reason, they will end up releasing him in a couple of years, and some other team will be able to acquire him at his true market value . . .
either way, i don't see him doing much for the broncos. in my mind, they completely wasted their first round pick. if they really wanted tebow, they should have traded down and gotten him later.

We also got Kyle Boller. Either one can be the starting QB for us, which would leave us with a legit backup, which we haven't had in awhile.JC is a step up from the Russell debacle. i hope we win more than 5.
Took a look at what the Jaguars did with their draft and I'm not sure what they were thinking. Sign that they are coming to LA next year?

I gotta disagree: JaMucus played like shit, but he didn't make a complete jackass of himself in the process. Brian Bosworth will always be my sentimental favorite in that category, of course.jamarcus russell is officially the biggest bust ever. ryan leaf can die in peace.

We also got Kyle Boller.
Even though I am a Cal fan, and Kyle played some great games for Cal, I cannot help but laugh at this.
He is not a great pro.

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which "unskilled people reach erroneous conclusions and make unfortunate choices but their incompetence robs them of the metacognitive ability to realize it." The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their own ability as above average.

Good call... I'm liking Tebow because he has no fucking clue what he sounds like...
On meeting with Coach McD for the first time...
"I was jacked leaving that room. I didn't even want to visit another room. It was not enough time," Tebow said. "We were excited, we were enthusiastic. There was passion. It was just intense, and it was ball, and it was juice. The juice level in that room was high, and it was awesome."
It was "ball"? Really? And what the fuck is "juice"? Sounds like a Chapelle joke...
And then there's Big Ben, who medical experts say
Sounds like a lock to me..."It's conceivable to think that there is a possibility that those concussions have led to some behavioral issues."
I've had 3 concussions in my youth... I don't think mrs_gala would mind...
