Draft day was yesterday, hence new thread...

Here are my thoughts on how the Broncos did...

And Drew Brees is fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked...

broncos should've taken mccoy or clausen. i want the broncos to built around quinn but drafting a qb in the first round just mean that they will have to play tebow soon. drafting tebow is just as bad when they drafted clarrett. i just hope cleveland didn't completely break quinn's confidence.

Awdunno, Clausen has this odd cockiness about him... Might have an attitude problem...

could not disagree more about your assessment of the broncos acquisition of tebow (for the following reason/s):

reason being, he will be a NFL player for years to come . . . but because they signed him in the first round his contract value will exceed his value as a player (until this contract expires). for that reason, they will end up releasing him in a couple of years, and some other team will be able to acquire him at his true market value . . .

either way, i don't see him doing much for the broncos. in my mind, they completely wasted their first round pick. if they really wanted tebow, they should have traded down and gotten him later.

For a change, the Raiders actually had a good draft. I know, I'm shocked too.

8-8 here we come. Possibly the playoffs...

We also got Kyle Boller. Either one can be the starting QB for us, which would leave us with a legit backup, which we haven't had in awhile.

Took a look at what the Jaguars did with their draft and I'm not sure what they were thinking. Sign that they are coming to LA next year?

I gotta disagree: JaMucus played like shit, but he didn't make a complete jackass of himself in the process. Brian Bosworth will always be my sentimental favorite in that category, of course.

Todd Marinovich is the biggest bust ever... Alex Smith is a quiet 4th to Leaf and Bosworth...

Ki-Jana Carter probably belongs fairly high on the list, too, although in his case the Pontiac Silverdome astroturf gets a big assist.

We also got Kyle Boller.

Even though I am a Cal fan, and Kyle played some great games for Cal, I cannot help but laugh at this.

He is not a great pro.

Good call... I'm liking Tebow because he has no fucking clue what he sounds like...

On meeting with Coach McD for the first time...

"I was jacked leaving that room. I didn't even want to visit another room. It was not enough time," Tebow said. "We were excited, we were enthusiastic. There was passion. It was just intense, and it was ball, and it was juice. The juice level in that room was high, and it was awesome."

It was "ball"? Really? And what the fuck is "juice"? Sounds like a Chapelle joke...

And then there's Big Ben, who medical experts say

"It's conceivable to think that there is a possibility that those concussions have led to some behavioral issues."

Sounds like a lock to me...

I've had 3 concussions in my youth... I don't think mrs_gala would mind...
