They are going to the 2s. Most of these guys might not even stick, Loebe was drafted last year and is already gone.

Now that this distraction is over, Denis can focus on the rest of his roster building

Looks like we took another attacking guy from loyla Maryland.

To me it's terrifying we're going after attacking mids, that's the position we need super star quality like vela, Nico lodero.

I'd rather see us go after CB depth and fullbacks and maybe a CDM.

You can't be picky in the later rounds of the SuperDraft. We already acknowledge that the pool of players is weak even after, like, the first 5 picks. You take the guys you think have the most potential to give you a relevant player.

There's 6 players on RB2 right now, add these 7(?) draftees and a couple of preseason invitees from the 1st team and there you have it.

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.

RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

Not to mention the back end of the first team roster will probably be getting minutes for the 2s. Tolkin, Jørgensen, Lema, Stroud, etc.

lol Mark Fishkin just counted it up and 13 teams passed on a total of 35 picks in the third/fourth round of the draft today.

Imagine an NFL getting to the 5th round and just going "nah we're good".

edit: and here's the real kicker, a handful of those passes were for picks that the team previously traded for

The amount of rounds has really fluctuated and we only had two in 12 and 13.

I would not be shocked if we go back down soon.

If you have a functioning club and academy set up you should not be taking 5/6/7 guys.

Jared Stroud was a fourth round pick, #83, two years ago, and now he is all-USL and on the first team. Who knows if he'll produce in MLS, but why not draft a few extra players? It's pretty much free, and RBII needs bodies.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Oceanography major

Good thing we have an Oceanographer because with the roster as is, this team is underwater :pint:

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.
