Fair, but in just five matches after Armas he has a goal and three assists.  He had one goal and one assist in the nine matches in 2020 coached by Armas.  Small sample size for sure, but still.

He may not be the best fit for the system, especially if Struber is going to push the press more than Marsch, but he has been an effective chance producer under every coach here not named Armas.

do think some of that is not playing with royer all the time they both are better with out each other

Some of that is coaching.  He had 3 goals and 10 assets in 13 matches played under Marsch and he's had 10 goals and 14 assists in 57 matches played since.  Not against an upgrade, and I know part of his 2019 slump was probably because of his unhappiness in not getting his transfer, but I think having Armas as a coach hurt him.

perhaps but im seeing those things more as tendencys in his game. I think his early success also was aided by being an unknown entity to the league now teams know to keep him off his left foot and for the most part drop off him because he doesnt take space

Should sell Kaku he isnt dynamic enough for this system and his tendency to drift out of his spot puts us in bad counter pressing scenarios. His whole game is built on constantly getting the ball and playing it. He doesnt drive at defense on the dribble and or make good runs off the ball that open up space for other. I would move on and bring in two dp strikers or try to get claudinho from Red Bull brazil. Clark can play the 10 with Flo in the RZA versatile do everything but not week in week our starter midfielder role. Keep Davis and yearwood and sell Casseres weak tackler and sloppy passer

There was a time that anyone who spent more than a minute playing at that level would have been welcome in MLS.   We've gotten past that, and there are plenty of guys getting regular minutes who wouldn't make it here.

possible but from what Ive seen a lot of yearwood level talents in those leagues are there either ex big club academy guys who couldnt break in like a Matt olosunde or smaller club academys like a yearwood who flew under the radar

BWP and Rodgers from League One, Lloyd Sam from the Championship (but fresh from a League One loan), Royer from the Danish league, Perrinelle from Ligue 2, Grella from some unholy NASL/Danish second tier combo.

We have a surprisingly decent track record of player signings from that level of play. Now it's just a matter of meshing that with Red Bull Global's insane success rate with youth signings and putting together a team capable of competing of MLS.

people severely underage the depth and amount of young talent at the league 1 championship level
