NY is into the 4th round of the 2013 US Open Cup.  After that, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Final.

Here are the 4th round pairings/schedule:

FOURTH ROUND June 12

AWAY TEAM --- HOME TEAM
Philadelphia Union (MLS)      at       DC United (MLS) (barely)
NY Red Bulls (MLS)              at       New England Revolution (MLS)
Orlando City SC (USL Pro)     at       Sporting Kansas City (MLS)
Houston Dynamo  (MLS)       at       FC Dallas (MLS)
Charleston Battery (USL Pro) at        Real Salt Lake (MLS)
Tampa Bay                         at        Portland
Columbus                           at       Chicago
Chivas USA/LA Blues            vs        Carolina RailHawks

Per the site, you can't assume the future round pairings yet, though after the quarterfinal round it does become a bracket (iirc).

Quarterfinals are June 26, and even though we can't predict it, I think the winner of NY/NE plays winner of Philly/DC; neither of those teams being remarkably tough.

LA, SJ and Seattle all lost this round, meaning KC, Dallas and possibly RSL are the best teams left aside from us. (Would be nice to make a run here...)

The Revs will be a challenge, but, that game is June 12th. We should play our starters, since we'll have fuck else to do with them until our next league game on June 23rd (we're off from 6/1 to 6/23 in the league).

First, a big "THANK YOU" to Mike Petke & the whole FO for taking this seriously this year. It was nice to host the game, it was nice that they tried hard enough to stream it & put Shep/Kangarooski on TV for it, and it was great that they played a representative lineup. That's simple shit, and we should be so used to it that we take it for granted, but around here we can't, so thank fuck for doing that.

Second, thanks to everyone who came out in 101 tonight, whatever club you are in. These are fun- though strange- games, and it's always great to be a part of them. I did lose my relative shit when Espindola scored, even if he was 2 steps off side (so it seemed). Would've been all sorts of pissed if we'd lost this game; glad I don't have to carry that around for another season.

Mike definitely brought the thunder for this game. Of course, we're fucked having to go back to Foxoboro and play on that damned turf again, unless they put the game in Boston somewhere.

Good news! The game is not at Harvard's football stadium. Instead it is at Harvard's Soldiers' Field Soccer Complex which is a GRASS surface.

Given the fact that we have 11 empty days on the schedule before and after this game and the surface is GRASS we should have the option to play are strongest possible lineup! This game will be the real indicator of how seriously Petke wants to take this game. New England's not great but they are not a PDL team abd they are getting better. Fagundez and Agudelo are a pretty dangerous forward tandem.

I think Henry sits out, but I think everyone else will be playing if they aren't injured.

Oh wow I missed the first few minutes and didn't see Sam had come that close in the first half.  Their keeper had a monster first half.

At 20:08, there is a sequence where we string together 18 consecutive passes and end with the ball in the opposing box and a dangerous shot on goal that happens to be blocked by the face of one of Reading's defenders.

That's our Open Cup team this year.

Deepest team ever?

June 12 is the middle of the break. Absolutely no reason the 1st team doesn't play. FYI, Soldiers Field Soccer Stadium has a field turf surface: http://gocrimson.com...acrosse_stadium
