MLSPU has the data going back to 2007.

Wondolowski
2007: 30,000
2008: 33,000
2009: 34,650
2010: 48,000
2011: 175,000
2012: 300,000
2013: 600,000
2014: 650,000
2015: 675,000
2016: 700,000
2017: 800,000
2018: 800,000
2019: 800,000

Someone else can do that for other players, because that was a lot of work on a phone. Pretty crazy rise though.

Its also interesting tidbit that the all time leading scorer in league history never cracked $1 million in annual salary.

Jorg and Ivan. Hopefully they improve, and quickly.

Good roster building overall though, just need a game changer DP on offense and better WB (and maybe CB) depth as we've been saying for the better part of a year now.

And a new coach. But really, just like the past 5 years I feel like were very very close to about as perfect a squad as you can build in MLS.

Which is why its ao frustrating to know that Hamlett wont go out and get the pieces we need.

As of now, certainly Ivan. However, Im not quite sure why he hasnt gotten more of a look this season. Hes looked like a much different player to me this year.

The rough part about this year is that our most expensive player has made zero impact.

The rough part about this year is that our most expensive player has made zero impact.

You could flip that and say that's the exciting part of this season. Arguably all three of the team's most expensive players haven't had the impact that you might expect given both their salary and past performance, yet this team is only 7 points off first place in the east with a game in hand.

Gio dos Santos makes 78% of our total payroll to not play.

What a flop he was.

Ivan is a freaking con artist. Signed from the German 4th division to make 300k+

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

MLS and UFC salaries used to be comparable.
A lawsuit may determine if UFC were unfair.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Jorgensen certainly isn't earning that paycheck.

don't front, we've all played FIFA manager mode, picked a small club and then signed a rated 65 prospect from a top team who makes 40k a week
