Ndam is loaned to the USL team for the remainder of the season to clear the INTL slot they used on Bezecourt.

Team didnt make an announcement but he can't be recalled without letting a different INTL player go.

so they could technically call up Scarlett since he qualifies as a domestic player, iirc.

Yes, they could loan him to the first team for the remainder of the season, which would mean once the others are healthy (insert joke here) and back from INTL duty, that final spot is used with JS low on the depth chart.

Better to be slow if you want to start on Marsch's team!

Hey, works for Sacha and DP.

kind of hard for a young player to turn down a call up during a FIFA date.  if he says no, then what's to say the coach won't stop calling him up? besides, it might also be a big F* you to the front office for not giving him a new contract already.

Not sure if these are the most recent regulations, but I think he has to go as it is an official FIFA date.

Friendly matches on a fixed/set date for qualifying matches for an international competition

If a national association does not have to play qualifying matches for an international
competition, it may wish to play a friendly match on a fixed/set date.

In this event, if a player is called up, he must be released to the national association as under
section b) above, and in accordance with Art. 36 Paragraphs 2a) and 5a). The period of release,
however, shall only be 48 hours.

i think the regulation says that the club (RBNY) has to comply with the national team request. However, Taxi in theory could still turn down the request...but it would come back to bite him in the long run I think.

If the FIFA date falls during the playoffs? You might say he has an argument at turning down the call-up. But for a regular season game @ Dallas, I think there's no way he can say no without any repercussions.

Guys like Sacha and Grella might be slow but they are good players for this team. Grella before his injury anyway.

Really? Isn't it the dream of most players in any sport to be part of their national team?
Also, exposure on the international stage helps his future prospects.
Note that he didn't leave for the friendly vs. T&T last Thursday.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Hey, works for Sacha and DP.

It worked for DP two years ago.  He's a freaking liability at this point.

I wasn't saying it was a good thing! I've been on the "bench DP" train for a few months now.

Royer ran today in training. Keita had a hattrick in a scrimmage.

difference makes dominating the training pitch. Speaking of success in training - Duka brace?

;-)

good news!

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.
