Best moment of this past weekend, the 3 across the back growing tired of never getting the ball so they simply started linking what seemed like 2 dozen passes to each other. Reminded me of the Simpson's episode when they attend a soccer match.

This "three small teams" stuff where the rules morphed to often is just a recipe for disaster.
Let's have fun and play the game... nothing more.
tm
PS: It was still a lot of fun... but when we are blessed to have so many people, we should play a real game. Hell, I'll ref.... badly.

Apparently it's not uncommon for galaxy fans...

Agreed. I want to go on record that when we do have "high participation" days we just roll with it. Bring out the trashcans, make BIG goals with real goalies who can use hands, and let it be 12 on 12.
ding ding ding, exactly why i left. to be honest i don't come out on sunday mornings to watch you guys play. nor do i want to only play for 5 minutes at a time.
really i'm not sure why we stopped after the first few minutes. kobe, lebron and jordan were actually passing the ball to other players.
when the sides are that big it encourages people to actually play soccer, you know stay in their position's look for open team mates.
here's to hoping that next week is a more manageable group. see you sunday

The more touches you get on the ball the better, 24 players and only one ball doesn't allow for that to happen.
To be honest I really doubt we will get that many numbers again it was a fluke, especially when our superstars leave because there were too many people I think we'll be alright for next week. I can't be there this coming week so that's one less person you have to worry about.

Also, Tommy Mack has morphed from just a body on the field into someone who can read the game and control the ball a bit. Bravo Tommy

I liked the mini games. You can bust your ass as hard as you can for 16 minutes, get an 8 minute break, and go again.

Don't forget it's daylight savings time again this weekend. We all lose an hour of sleep.
That alone will probably keep the numbers down.
I'm in for Sunday.
