You think they are gonna sign a player who's gonna be the best LB in MLS? Are you high? Can I have some of that please?

Does not need to be an upgrade at left back.  If they sign a first rate defensive midfielder and a competent left back, the team could still conceivably be better than last year.

It was a beautiful sunny winter day in NYC today. The women were out at lunch time, and met an old friend for drinks.

Tomorrow the sun will come out and I will get myself ready to go skiing for the weekend. Life is good

Soccer can wait, there are other things that are more important in life. This is just a minor bump on the road

Kemar had never played a professional game before signing with us at age 22. He went on to be a top 3 LB in the league. Ashley Cole has a closet full of trophies from the best leagues in the world. He was most definitely not a top 3 LB in the league. MLS teams are throwing darts in the dark when it comes to fullbacks.

So who knows, we've had two guys in a row at LB (Oyongo and Lawrence) that came out of thin air and played great. Maybe we can keep the streak going.

I like the attitude, enjoy life!

Forget about this and well be here for you next week.

The New York Red Bulls previously kicked around Major League Soccer as the MetroStars with limited success. But after transforming under a new banner in 2005, the Red Bulls have become a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference. The club has made leaps of progress since its previous incarnation and now has its focus on bringing the league title to New York. I think you just zerod in on Hamletts roster building philosophy, Hope guys come out of thin air and play great!

Thats how most Champions are built.

Not to kill your enthusiasm, but none of the guys who found either of those players are here anymore...

Hamlett ... only programmed to say like 3 different things.
"We want to bring in the right players"
"We're in a good position"
"We're looking to improve"

If I listened long enough to you,
Id find a reason to believe that its all true.
Knowing that you lied straight-faced as I cried,
Still I look to find a reason to believe.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Side note, anyone know why RB seem fixated on Euro guys/USL, college prospects and not any domestic players? There are other teams with players we could trade around for right? We're not gonna get another Kemar in MLS but surely theres someone serviceable we could trade for?

Honestly, our SD doesnt know any other players.

we didn't sign Jen$en until Tyler Miller ex-LAFC was off the table. i'm guessing not getting Miller made them put all their GK $$$ on the Dutch guy.

Convinced they are going to sign Seagrist now.

Seagrist/Tolkin and Buckmaster at LB.

If they go cheap there they need to sign both a starting caliber CM and ST. No exceptions.

Max allocation $$ from Murillo and Kemar sales. Egbo and Jensen didnt require AM for their signings. So far only down $100k in GAM trading up for Seagrist

Competition at every position= the team will be filled with clutter with no exceptional talent that sticks out

5 year plan

Competition is great but I think at a point you are fighting against diminishing returns.

You can only squeeze so much water from a stone.
