CONCACAF + CONMEBOL Collaboration

It was just announced that the USA will host the 2024 Copa America, which will be played by the 10 CONMEBOL teams plus 6 CONCACAF teams.

 

Also, the top 4 CONMEBOL teams will play in the CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup.

 

And there will be a 4 team club competition featuring two teams from both CONMEBOL and CONCACAF.

 

It's pretty exciting stuff.  The Nations League is not that attractive a competition, as it is basically the same as WC Qualifying with a different end product.  This gives us (and Mexico and Canada) the chance to play real games against different, and strong competition.

Wonder how the slots will work for Americas SuperCup?

Lib finalists and CCL finialist?

I'd imagine we get smoked but always good to see out clubs closing the gap over time.
