unless Duncan or Egbo are moving out this window, its the last position we need to be recruiting for.  that said if he is better than what we have and easily available swaps like this are fine.  It's MLS so there are people available at every position who should upgrade roster.

Maybe convert him to LB? imo, we need an upgrade from Pendant, and we have empty int'l slots. Also position where he's played the 2nd most minutes is at RM.

I see this as getting another player at a position we don't really need. DM is a bigger need, even LB as mentioned above.. And those are not even close to striker which is by far our biggest need.

Tom Edwards would be a really good pick-up because he can play both Left and Right Back plus he can really pass the ball

How about Egbo? After Adams, I really like a crazy athletic DM.

Would he be an upgrade over Pendant at LB?

Sounds like he had some attitude/partying issues after a really bright start. NY doesn't seem to be the ideal place to bring a guy like that, but maybe he has matured and can get back on track here, especially if he can play both outside back positions.

In 98 starts Edwards has played RB 75 times, RM 10 times, LM 3 times, LB 3 times, CB twice, and DM once.

Id be surprised if the idea is to play him on the left.

Maybe he is seen as a RM and RB? In an interview with him on youtube he indicated that his original preferred position was midfield.

What if Duncan is on the block?

I'd be stunned. He was the team's best player, is young, and costs the team nothing. Only way I can see it is if Europe is calling and the offer can't be refused.

Duncan was being watched by Lens, Heerenveen, and Swansea. Swansea have been linked to both Jordan Morris, and Paul Arriola and their owner also is part of the group that owns the Scum.

Didnt think Duncan was going anywhere a week or two ago, but its hard to understand the reasoning on bringing in a 3rd RB, on loan, unless 1 is departing.
