In Topic: Hamlett is in so far over his head

Let's say someone does ask the hard hitting questions asking, what will the impact be?
... Expecting that brave reporting asking difficult questions will have any meaningful or lasting impact is somewhere on the scale between unrealistic and laughable.

I'm not looking for meaningful or lasting impact.  That's not what journalism is supposed to be.  I just want understanding.  I want accountability.  I want people to be asked the smart questions, and to hear the answers.

"We fell that the combination of Brian White, Tom Barlow, and Mathias Jorgensen is ready to step up and move to the next level. We spent a lot of money on Jorgensen last year and feel that his year with RB2 not only taught him our system, but prepared him for a bigger role."

There really is no point.

I get it, but then why say we are focusing on getting a #9?  When did it change?

I can ask him at media day, but what's the point? The answer is obvious already:

We shored up goalkeeping and right back. We brought back Sims. Valot coming back is like a new player. We feel our USL guys are ready to step up and contribute. And... drumroll...

We need to find "right player" at the "right time".

Rinse, repeat.

Is it inappropriate to point out the specific players he said we would need (especially a #9) and to ask why the other RB teams seem to have no difficulty finding players that fit the same system?

Unleas Kaku is taking pks i don't see him with 10 goals. Great player, but he tries to pass the ball in the net.

I was thinking Muyl could get 8 goals if he sees significant minutes. He gets in good spots to score and I think someone mentioned he scored a ton at gtown. I would like to see him as the second striker in the 4222 (as a sub maybe when White or Royer gets tired).

Hes a notoriously poor finisher.

Don't think Muyl gets as many minutes as in previous yrs, unless

Valot gets another long term injury.

Royer sits out for a long period for whatever reason

Sims gets injured or a severe loss of form or loan gets cancelled and is recalled.

imo, the above 3 are ahead of Muyl in the depth chart at winger.

Royer plays on the left
