As usual, this thread is a follow up to the 2011 Season Ticket Thread. Post all relevant information, questions, complaints, etc. regarding Galaxy Season Tickets in LARS for 2012.

As you well know, our season ticket count is our biggest tool with the FO. Our numbers are still the largest block in the stadium and that does not go unnoticed.

This year we have some pretty good news, info which is already available to you, particularly as it relates to price.

  • New members will pay the 2011 rate. ($510)
  • Renewals by October 8th (deposit required) will pay $440 -- $70 below last year's price. Additionally, no pesky service fee ($10) will be added if you renew by then.
  • New members who purchase a 3 game ticket pack for RSL, Chivas & MLS Cup by Oct 1st will be eligible for the 2012 rate! Contact Aaron.

This is definitely a solid step in the right direction and adding more numbers to our cause will help us continue to take similar steps.

Here is the breakdown for the 2012 Season Ticket Plan:

Price:
  • $440 for Renewals by October 8th (deposit required)
  • $440 for New Members (See above. Call Aaron for details)
  • $510 for New Members, Late Renewals, etc.

  • Total = 20 games ($22.00 per game)
  • 17 Regular Season Galaxy Home Games
  • 3 Bonus Games (Details TBA)
  • 1 Away Game vs. Chivas USA
  • 1 Supporter Group Specific Scarf (1 per Ticket)
  • Payment Plan
  • Referral Program (Conditions Apply!)
  • Season Ticket Booklet + Team LA Discount Card
  • Discounted Season Parking Available ($220)
  • A Season's Supply of Hugs from Ed The Zombie
  • Other Details Pending Confirmation.... Stay Tuned

For specifics, you can talk to our ticket rep. Here is his info, save it:

Again, this is the place for all discussion, questions, comments, concerns, etc. on 2012 Season Tickets with LARS, so have at it!

You frame it in the best way possible, but I am still baffled why ACB and Galaxians only have to pay $360 by Oct. 8 to renew theirs.

They get all of the exact same benefits, etc.

They just pay a lot less.

Is it really worth $110 bucks to sit in the corner? Not saying we should move, but I'm saying it's kinda BS to charge us that much more.

Since we never make it to every single game anyways, tough to justify.

It is nice being so close to the $12 beers though.

[*]1 Supporter Group Specific Scarf (1 per Ticket)

Can I donate this to the 8 year old that made it in the factory?

FAKE EDIT: Oh, supporter GROUP scarf, not STH scarf... nevermind!

thanks for the info!

Also, how much of a % is LARS receiving from this? I wouldnt be surprised if ACB was just like the SOBs get

They sit in a cheaper section. That's all it is.

They don't get a Season's Supply of Hugs from Ed The Zombie.

No truer words have been posted... those hugs are legit.

And even get a complimentary ass slap! (just ask Kevin...)
Even though he denied me, Victor has stepped in to be sure I get my ass slapped every match. Can't go wrong with that!

Yeah, that just seems silly though. In lots of ways the view is much better, I think.

They don't get a Season's Supply of Hugs from Ed The Zombie.

I don't know how I missed this the first time. They really do miss out.

The official response is that they sit in a cheaper section and the discounts are proportional to the list price of the tickets.

In an absolut world, all SGs pay the same rate but as I mentioned already... Baby steps.

When you do the math, these prices are lower even than the price we had BEFORE Beckham signed and are the lowest prices Ive seen since I joined LARS. Certainly we arent getting the annual increase that the civilians pay.

Make sure you take advantage of the add-on promo too. If you refer or add someone, you get $100 back. Thats about 4.5 free tix. Talk to Aaron for all the details.

Like I said, its not perfect but I think we are starting to make progress every season. It really took a lot of work for Ed to agree to all those hugs.

Unlike the fantasy football thread, this is one thread where you wont be silenced though. A lot of the things you guys bring up we bring up to the FO so by all means carry on

Actually it is an $80 difference and not $110.

And regular season tickets are going up again, last year ours went from $800 to $900 - they want $960 for next year (that is the early renewal price) and that does not include a ticket to the chivas "away" game.

So next year we are moving to 138

I wonder how I came up with 110.

I was wondering when you guys were gonna start slumming it.

What is the season ticket price for a seat in Sec 238?

I actually don't think they sell season tickets in the upper deck any longer.

Also wanted to recommend this...

If you are planning to add-on a ticket, call Aaron before Oct 8th.

They're offering a $100 referral or add-on program.

So I'm looking to add a few tickets, ea. will be priced at $500 (new ticket price) but with the credit, they come out to $400... also, if you do this by Oct. 31st, they'll add another $25 credit, so I'm looking at adding tickets at $375 a pop.

So my pricing will be:

$440 for ticket A
$375 for ea. ticket after that

Take advantage of it, suckas!

EDIT: Oh, and if you haven't renewed and don't plan on adding any tickets when you do, you can just renew through your ticket manager. No need to play phone-tag with the FO unless you're going to be changing your account somehow.
