i went to some old theater last week and watched el topo for the first time on the big screen.
i was loaded and thought it was the best shit i've ever seen.
it's got a lot of blood, naked chicks, a naked boy, mexicans, cowboys, midgets, deformed tards, people eating bugs, dead rabbits, and a man with no legs riding a man with no arms!
then i had nightmares and now i think i hate it.

You probably saw it at the NuArt. They've been playing a lot of his stuff recently.

I wondering If they were touring the reels?
They were showing Jodowarsky films at a place by my house a month a go.
I missed El Topo, but I did get to see Holy Mountain.
That was some rollicking zany antics

I finally saw 'The Departed' and thought it pretty much sucked! I can't believe that won 'Best Picture'...joke!
Good Fellas and Casino were far better films.

Children of Men was one of last years best films and won nothing.

children of men was better than the departed, but i can't agree that the departed sucked. it had a cool story, lots of great one liners, great acting and an unexpected ending.

Someone uploaded this to google video about 2 weeks ago and I saw it. First, it was good. Second, it was not nearly as great as Shaun of the Dead. All the cool stuff you see in the trailer happens in the last 10 minutes of the movie.

Nothing will ever be as great as Shaun of Dead, but it's still good

Saw Shooter the other night, it was a great dude film(excluding a naked chick)

Also saw TMNT last week and coming from a fan, this movie was ok, great animation though.

Last night my TiVo tried to record 'Champions League Weekly' on ESPND (?) and instead picked up a weird Irish flick I've never seen before. The guide had no info.

It had Colm Meaney as a psychotic cop, Colin Farrell as a druggie, Shaun's mum from 'Shaun of the Dead', Spud's girl and Diane from 'Trainspotting', as well as a few other familiar faces...

Anyone know what this is?

Whatever it was, it was very cool and I recommend it...

EDIT: found it

I posted this in another thread but felt that it should be added here:

Can we all just pitch in to help make this world a better place by encouraging people you know to never see another Nicholas Cage film.

If you're not a part of the solution, you are a part of the problem.
