Closed.
As good as Kaku is, he isn't single-handedly saving a team from La Liga relegation. But if they make an offer we can't refuse ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

MLS record transfer fee being 14+ million? I mean I love Kaku, but if someone's going to offer nearly 10 million more than you bought him for...
The real question is do we have someone in mind to spend that money on?
If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

I think so. And also, MLS holds 25% of anything above what we paid for Kaku (which was $6.25M right?)
So hypothetically, if we sell him for $14M:
Off the top, Huracan keeps 20% of that ($2.8M)
Of the remaining $11.2M, RBNY would keep all $6.25M to cover the initial transfer fee;
Of the remaining $4.95M, MLS would keep 25% ($1.24M), and RBNY keeps 75% ($3.7M)
RBNY: $9.95M
MLS: $1.24M
Huracan: $2.8M

So we'd turn a $3.7 million profit, or roughly a 60% profit margin on our initial investment. That's a hell of a ROI on someone we just purchased 5 months ago. I have a hard time believing this will actually come to fruition.

A great signing in the hand is worth 2 in the transfer market, but so it goes as a selling club/league.
RED. BULL. OUT.

Reading this thread brings to mind a meme I saw with a dolphin and a rainbow in the background with the caption "I Wanna Die".

Any actual internet link to this? Love rumors but substance is good too sometimes.
I've only seen it on MLS Transfers Twitter
