Pretty sad. Loved Don Cornelius growing up; not to the level of Will Smith in the Fresh Prince mind you, but a good deal.
Peace, Love and Soul.
Isaac: So when I told you guys we were on it, I meant to say we're on the motherfucker, go back in there and relax...

In Praise of Feeling Bad About Yourself
The buzzard never says it is to blame.
The panther wouldn't know what scruples mean.
When the piranha strikes, it feels no shame.
If snakes had hands, they'd claim their hands were clean.
A jackal doesn't understand remorse.
Lions and lice don't waver in their course.
Why should they, when they know they're right?
Though hearts of killer whales may weigh a ton,
in every other way they're light.
On this third planet of the sun
among the signs of bestiality
a clear conscience is Number One.

- Whitney Houston.
If you haven't watched Being Bobby Brown it is reality television at its finest.
Sad that she hasn't been singing for a while. She had a fantastic voice in her prime.

Saturday he scores, Whitney dies.
Last year, the day Bin Laden was killed, Ramsey scored. As did, Kadafi when Ramsey scored a few months later.
I think there is one more goal/death out there, but can't remember.

You know him from Band of Brothers, but there was much more to this man. RIP.
Edit: I think I need to change my board name. I am so not worthy to share the four letters with him.

This is a few weeks after another of the 1950 legends passed away.
Harry Keough
Only two left.
What strikes me about these guys is how humble they were. Of course, under the circumstances, why wouldn't they be. They were regular guys with regular jobs, mostly. War veterans, husbands, and dads. But you don't have to be great or famous to be an ass, and everyone that speaks of these men describe them as men with class.
It seems a shame that the film, "The Game of Their Lives", did such a poor job of telling the story. I understand the book was more accurate. Bummer that some Hollywood idiot decided to play with the facts to try to make it a mainstream hit. Better if the film had been made for us, and for the soccer fans that would come later.
Rest in peace, gentlemen.
