My favorite Tim Weah story

Sometimes I think it'd be fun to square up against a pro in a situation like that. And then I remember that the chubby guys in old trainers that I play against now are already breaking my ankles, so maybe it'd go even worse than I think.

Wished that we could take Weah on loan using that new-ish rule "Young DP". 18 months. Could play up top off of Royer, or be in midfield next to Kaku or Valot or whoever.

Doubt Thelwell will get the auth to pull off a move of that type.

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.

RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

Weah was even in our academy for a hot second.  Kyle and Timothy are super close.  Forgot which on the RBNY COVID content videos I saw when Kyle went thru his development and playing with Timothy growing up.

this is an all time great story that I saw before and tell often.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Oh it would go very badly 😂😂

Pretty cool story, haven't played at Pier 40 in a couple of years.
Djorkaeff played at Chelsea Piers in an over 30 league a couple of years ago an hour before a game of mine (I was then in the regular U30 league).
