How do you know they were red bull fans? Three guys not wearing Red Bull gear, ESC gear or GSS gear and you jump to conclusion they are red bull fans?

btw, you came to the wrong place to cry.

Not Red Bulls fans, I wonder who it could have been then ?

Why not police escort and make sure the away fans' buses can GTFO of town uninterrupted without getting caught in traffic, red lights etc like they do in the rest of the civilized world?

So this isn't the club atmosphere you want out of our fans then?

I've yet to see photographic or video evidence that it was indeed our fans.

"Typical Germans"

Oh, thought I was Fergie for a second.

The New York Red Bulls previously kicked around Major League Soccer as the MetroStars with limited success. But after transforming under a new banner in 2005, the Red Bulls have become a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference. The club has made leaps of progress since its previous incarnation and now has its focus on bringing the league title to New York. It is my assumption, that the common "red bulls fan" who doesn't happen to be in a supporters club and would rather wear a euro-jersey rather than our own, is probably only going to the games because they watch soccer so much that they need an outlet to be hooligans because that's exactly what they see going on over there. In their hearts, 75% UEFA fans, 25% MLS.. maybe even less on the MLS side.. I would call them visiting Liverpool fans even they were from Jersey. And a grudge has nothing to do with it, it's just how they've seen the visiting teams fans treated in football overseas.

I'm sure :pint: had something to do with it too.

It doesn't matter if we call the rock-throwers Red Bulls fans, Liverpool fans or Sky Blue FC fans--either way, it's a stupid act and we don't need this shit going on.

Philly fans can boo-hoo all they want, but I can guarantee they'll be doing worse shit in the rematch down in Chester. I just can't feel bad for these guys, after their constant attempts to start trouble, in the concourse, outside Gate A after the game, and even on the bridge heading back to Newark.

Not condoning these idiots for what they did, though. They need to be made aware that this kind of action is not cool on any level.
I'd rather die than live in a world where I can't kick your ass.

No one should throw rocks, obviously.

Probably jealous that Philly took away Liverpool's title of 'World's Ugliest City'.
