The thread was a message board version of AIDS and was thankfully locked. The last thing this place needs is political talk.

Amen! We are at each others throats enough as it is!

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Yeah keep politics out of soccer message boards. Unless it's to criticize Nazis in supporters groups. Fuck those guys.

I think people just got sick of talking about politics. Myself included.

And some of us are still trying to help family in Puerto Rico, have to help friends who get spit on and called racist names on the subway, get in scuffles at bars when Trump goons want to bother our trans friends.

For some, politics is just another sport to comment on, with no bearing on everyday life. Must be nice.

RED. BULL. OUT.

think it just kinda moved to twitter, where its a bigger field/conversation. even in mf's heyday, you only had so many people commenting and you had a pretty good idea of what everybody was going to say based on their politics.

Trumpito can eat a syphilitic dick.

It seems Philly fans have signed up on metrofanatic to vote for themselves (in 'What team do you hate more?') . No real fan of this team would vote anything other than DC.
