I currently live quite a distance away from my office and I'm trying to move closer, particularly to Queens or parts of Brooklyn.

Trying to find a situation where I'd split a place with 1-2 other people.

Right now I don't know anyone who is looking to move as well, so realtors, sites like rent.com, Zillow, padmapper etc are not any help.

I've sent out dozens and dozens of emails in response to listings on craigslist and I'd say 95% of people never reply back (probably because they are getting bombarded with similar messages). I've varied the contents and subject lines of the emails but it hasn't changed my success rate much at all. I've only checked out two places in about a month of searching.

For those who live in the city, how did you find your current place? Any tips are greatly appreciated. I feel like there's gotta be a better way to go about this.

I know that many of our fans still live in NYC.
Anyone have a sweeter deal than this lady?

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.
