I was scared seeing him on the front page of Metrofanatic prior to reading the headline
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Shit. This means he breaks his leg irreparably in the next week,

I need my plaid pitch.

honestly think he deserves DP money out of anyone on our roster other than BWP, and maybe Kemar. He rarely has an off day, and regularly bails us out. Without him our record would be a lot worse.

Good for him. Hopefully no allocation money used on it as we need it more elsewhere on the pitch.

I really liked Bouna and liked Conway; wasn't here when Howard was with us (I hear he's good), but would anyone argue that Robles isn't our best GK ever? We've never had this kind of stability in the position, especially with Meara as our backup.

I'd put Robles as tied with Meola as our 2nd best keeper ever after Howard. I think Robles will have to warrant discussion as #1 eventually.
It's crazy that we have arguably 3 of our best ever Metros playing right now:
- Robles (only competition is Howard and Meola)
- BWP (we all love Mathis and JPA, but BWP has been a clinical goal scoring machine for us)
- Kemar Lawrence (this one is more debatable, but I'm struggling to think of any Metro/RBNY left back who was better than him)

Robles is solid and this is a great move. I wouldn't have ANY other MLS keeper over him, incl Howard, guzan etc.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

I think johnny walker and mike amman were also a solid goal keepers for us. Since mls started we have had atleast 5 guys who were boarder line usmnt gks.

Deserved. Hard to place him above Tim as the best, but Robles has been this club's most important keeper.
